Another 13 Moon Woman has a portfolio of drawings, prints, paintings and slides that span four decades including drawings, paintings and animations.  Her  core iconography is heavily informed by media, culture &  technology.

 

This work is the foundation from which she draws her inspiration in order to make a leap from being a "regular" artist to a "bitcoin" artist. This happened through a series of twists and turns on her journey to becoming a SOVEREIGN ARTIST.

From the early 1980's and the birth of the Cyberpunks, to the present Bitcoin Community on NOSTR, Another 13 Moon Woman continues to draw on popular tech culture to inform her work.  In addition, studies in iconology, a branch of art history that concerns itself with the subject matter or meaning of works of art, as opposed to just forms is important to her.

Naturally, her prior work in the area of Social Information Architecture and meaning making factors in heavily in her work so you can expect lots of text and image combos.

Another 13 Moon Woman has followed the development of technology from the Internet to Social Media and from Social Media to Artificial Intelligence. She has been following the development of Privacy and Encryption since 2000. As a practicing Social Information Architect since 2014, she is fascinated by the concept of information as hard money and its exacting arrangement in its ability to help artists save money and create wealth.

To further expand the scope of her work Another 13 Moon Woman has engaged in explorations of the spiritual traditions of Buddhists, Rastafarians and Indigenous Peoples of Turtle Island. This provides real world experiences  which she can reference...
